What do you think about, say, oh I don't know, it's just an idea, but.. if a country had no currency whatsoever? And if, say, trading for goods was banned or something? So there'd be no possible way for anyone to be able to use like salt or something as currency instead of money? Do you believe it'd be possible? Just a thought.

Pure unadulterated Anarchy.... If you had a plot of land, with a creek running through, fish, trees, pasture, fields for crops.... and you built your own house out of locally available materials, worked the land, domesticated the local wildlife, lived in total self sufficiency (liberals hate this part) without outside interference, then along comes a neighbor (yes, there are neighbors doing the same thing) with a shiny piece of metal you would like to have, you trade something for it, eggs, hides, dried fish...jerky. Money
is always around. The very concept of "A Country" implies trade and the existence of money, and law (shudder) and there goes the neighborhood.

Anarchy is a political concept NOT a bunch of idiots running wild in the streets setting fires and breaking things... It takes extreme self discipline and self sufficiency to be a successful Anarchist.... and not much law or money. Governments are direly afraid of the concept of true Anarchy.

Currency is not backed by gold anymore as it was 50 years ago. The onlything backing up currency is trust. We trust the government that the 1 dollar=1 dollar. It is possible if the government wanted to shoot themselves in the foot. Government gets taxes from our income, if you don't incomes, they don't get money. And thats in a democratic government. In a communist or totaltarian government, all the businesses is the governments.

How would that even work, how would services be provided. No this would not work and I think it would quite possibly be the worst idea ever.

you must be intent on killing off all the citizens of the country.
People will always find a way .You would have a black-market that would be more powerful than the government.
