kinda cause an extremely long period of PMS that lasts like forever or what??

No, menopause does not last forever---it just seems that way. ;-)

She needs to see a gynecologist right away to determine if it is menopause or some other health problem. How old is she? Perimenopause can begin in the 30's and menopause itself can last up to 10 years.

Please be patient with her. Advise her to see a doctor---there are lots of remedies for the symptoms, so she (and you) do not need to suffer through anything. Tell her that you love her and want her to feel well and be happy and to do whatever it takes to make it so. Good luck!

suck it up it may or not be menopause it could be something else get it checked out please cancer can cause excessive bleeding also the nerves can cause excessive bouts of irregular periods

Yeah my mother in law is going through that. She is a wacko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least I am thinking thats the prob. Just plain crazy. A little schizo too LOLOL
