I hate waiting..in line, in traffic. How can I become more patient? I want to grow up a bit more and realize that being in the real world means that things won't always go my way. How can I work to realize that idea and not get upset when something doesn't go my way? Thanks!

What a thoughtful question for you to ask! I happen to be a patient person so maybe I can give you some tips. I use my "waiting in line" time to think about my day, plan some event coming up, or, if able, read that book I always carry for such times. It's always a fun time, too, to people watch, give someone a smile or,if the wait in line looks long, start a casual talk w/ someone nearby. A good deep breath helps and remember that we are all in this together. You sound like a great person and I think with practice you will be able to at least deal with impatience.

The first thing to do is plan what you are going to do better.
It may only take 30 minutes to do some thing most of the time but some times it takes more & you should always allow that it will be
the most, not the least time.

If you allow more time for you to do things this will help greatly.

If you try to do more things than there is time for you to do you just set your self up to be impatienent.

When you have little time to do things don't waste time with things that you really don't need to do.

There was a woman who prayed to God to teach her patience and God sent her the worst housekeeper in the world. She learned patience!
