Nice!! I am glad to see so many women out there that can do everything from the basics to more complicated mechanical stuff. I am a bit of a gear head myself, and have been working selling auto parts for over 6 years now an have learned soooo much. One thing I can't stand are little foofoo girly girls who don't want to get dirty. Come on chickies, it's not the 1950's anymore. Oh, and by the way, not every woman who likes cars and motors and stuff is a lesbain by the way - that is usually the assumption made by insecure men who are just jealous that a lady can do something they can't. Wrench on, girls!!

I have and AAA membership but I can change a tire, add antifreeze, winshield wiper fluid and I can change burnt out turn indicators. I also can jump a battery.
Learn to do these things - especially the tire thing - you will be glad you did. Roadside assistance is not always available.

My dad wouldn't let me get my license until I could change a tire by myself, and at least check the fluids. Now I change my oil, flush the radiator, changed my own plugs and wires, replaced an upper and lower radiator hose, changed a thermostat, and lots of other small stuff. I can usually trouble shoot pretty good. It keeps you from getting raked over the coals and taken advantage of at a mechanics shop and besides that, it impresses the guys.

OMG yes, my dad and brother made sure I knew how to do all those things and even some hard things. Like changing my alternator, changing out my battery, etc.

You NEED to learn how to do that, dont depend on any man! And its good in case of an emergency!

You absolutely should learn these things! Never assume you can rely on anyone else to do the things in your life that need to get done. You're a Sagittarius! You don't need anyone else!

I can. My dad taught how to do all that stuff when I was 17 years old. These days I just take my car to a mechanic and have them do it.
