I was very disturbed when my father started dating my neighbor. He is no longer married to my mother, but has been with the same women for 20 years and all of a sudden started sneaking around with my young neighbor. To top it off, it upset my husband and my husband decided to call my dads girlfriend of 20 years and tell her. What a mess, now my dad lives next door and we don't even speak! I was so hurt that my husband betrayed me and so hurt that my dad was a cheater, so hurt that my kids know what he has done!

It was so neat. Yesterday this guy who's always nice when he comes in to where I work was sitting in a loveseat, trying it out, when I came out from eating a bit. He first startled me by wanting to buy it coz usually he just looks around or gets books. I helped him carry it out coz I was the only one working and we tried to put it in the back of his car (which...I thought if we carried it out, it would be to a truck, but I should have noticed he said car, LOL.) It was funny trying to put it there. Anyway. I was asking if he knew someone who drove a van and letting him know he could pick it up in three days if he needed time, ready to help him get it back in the store, when an aged woman walked up and asked where he needed to drive it to. Guess what? She drove a van. I am not making this stuff up, promise! Anyway. After a bit of getting her to understand where his address was, it was nearby, and offering to pay her a bit, we helped get it into the back of her van. She really went out of her way to help too; it was awesome. He kept saying it was all a blessing, how God sends you what you need. I was a little shook up by that in itself coz I have trouble thinking that way, but hey, he got what he needed right away. Neat!

I read a story in the newspaper about a woman who microwaved and killed her baby. That shook me up. As far as personal situations, I guess I'd have to say Hurricane Katrina (I live in Louisiana).

Well, my best friend has been a little downtrodden lately because of some things he is going through, and I feel it with all my heart. There's not much I can do, either, which is so frustrating! But I'm trying.....
