Def Lep - more musical diversity than the Crue and better longevity. No infighting, etc. Much better class of guys if you ask me.

I prefer Crue but i did love the first Def Leppard album.

Even though I love Def Lep, I'd have to say Motley Crue is the better band. I just love the history and chemistry that they share.

The Crue - Tommy Lee is a top notch drummer and Nikki Sixx is an excellent song writer.
