Can anyone suggest somewhere in and around London to go to chill out for a sunday afternoon? Somewhere like a bar/cafe that has food as well or a chilled out place to get food. I want to chill with some friends who will be popping in as and when so dont want to worry about all ordering food at the same time and hate that thing where you have to calculate the bill at the end. Thanks for your suggestions!

In Covent Garden you have the Covent Garden Grill, rather than write you a review have found the following on it from Top Table

This unpretentious grill, right in the heart of Covent Garden, has a modern atmosphere and music, and offers excellent value for money. All the ingredients in fact that make it such a popular haunt for twenty and thirtysomethings in search of good grub and a good time. The Covent Garden Grill prides itself in using the best possible ingredients. This is a Mecca for, in particular, meat-lovers, with its range of Scottish Highlands steak, which are hung for 28 days.

Where better than the aptly names Big Chill House?!
We put on our own party in a room there last Sunday (which actually ended up being a little less than chilled!), but the vibe in the huge main bar room is very relaxed with Sunday papers, sofas and the most enormous roasts being served all afternoon. All very laid back, right next door to Kings Cross Thameslink station which makes it really easy for people to get to/from too.
