I have been trying for a baby for 19 months with no joy, but this month I have had some really strong period pains and incredibly sore breasts (all classic signs that I am getting my period) although my period is not due for another week, and I have had these feelings for the past 2 weeks now. i have done a pregnancy test but it was negative, but I wonder if this is because I haven't actually missed my period yet, I don't understand why I have felt like my period is going to start for the past 2 weeks and still have another week to go, what do you think? Also, the period pain seems to be centred in my lower back which is unusual for me and my breasts have been alot more painful than they usually are when period is due, any opinions much appreciated

sore breasts are always my first symptom! If Im reading right your period a week away which means it may be a few days to early to test. Wait just a few days and test again. or you could wait until you have missed your period!

This is a tricky one! Try taking a test when you miss your actual date that your period is supposed to start.
