If you don't know anyone, then how do you know they see you as inferior? What makes you think you can gain respect back that you may have never had in the first place? Hmmmm.........
Sounds like you are putting yourself through the ringer. Just be personable, don't kiss a**, just be more approachable. Maybe the fact that you think no one respects you shows somehow and makes you unapproachable.

If you are in a new school you need to earn other's respect, not get it back. These people don't know you, the more quiet and reserved you are the more people will avoid you. Be yourself, sit with new people at lunch, talk to strangers in the hallway, help someone out, get in a group. Just be confident and others will recognize you are someone they would want to know. Smile at people, speak out, get noticed!

I had switched schools in between 10th and 11th grades. I also had a hard time because everyone already had their clicks. But eventually I found a few good people that didn't care about what others thought. Good luck and hang in there.

Whatever it takes, Son. They are just human being like you. They are not tigers, bears or other beasts those can kill and eat you if you do wrong things to them. Try to talk with them. If they don't react well, whatever, just live by yourself and try to find others to talk. I think among all your friends in class, there are good people who can be your friends.
Nobody perfect, Son. So, don't be shy. Everybody has done false and even embarrass things in his/her life before, but he/she will not talk about it with everyone.
Keep try, OK.

You sould look for every occasion to talk to them..I was like that three years ago.Now not..everything is normal and av a lot of friends...If you are shy 'i was'..or think that they would laugh at you Just give them wity advice and compliments...Be smart and confident of yourself...Go for it..You are no less than them...but am sure...SPECIAL IN YOUR OWN WAY...There must be some who'll really like you.

Stop sitting alone, sit with other students at lunch, and start interacting with them. You can't make friends if you won't talk to anyone. Good luck!

start by making small conversations whenever you can.. people love compliments, just a simple sentence like "you look great in this shirt" is nice. But remember to be sincere and real..

Socialize with others, so that they dont consider you an outcast. But rather that you're friendly and wish to make friends with others.
