No, they are different.

The original American version is based on Atlantic City, New Jersey so that, for example, the two most expensive properties are Park Place and Boardwalk rather than Park Lane and Mayfair.

No its not the same. Did you know that you can create your own personalized Monoply set? It costs about £70 and is a one off created in the factory where Monoply sets are made. You get to choose the names of the streets etc. Firebox have details.

no, there are tonnes of different versions all with different streets, in fact the latest London Monopoly has different streets to the original

No, it has American streets! There are many different versions...

Here in the UK there is a Leeds University special edition, and there is also a Disney edition...

Yes, I'm sure that it does differ because I have the South African version of Monolopy and it has South African streets.
