Kids like adventure rides so you could take them to Alton Towers,Or The Great Orme,LLandudno in North Wales. If you choose the latter-just before you get to the pier on the right bear left up a road which becomes extremely steep. You will need first gear. At the top is a big car park and a pub. There is also a dry ski slope and some tobogganing on wheels that the kids can do . I guarantee they will love it. It is done on a steel tubular track and you can go quite fast. Also there is the pier to go on with amusements and Great Orme itself with wonderful views and an old copper mine for the kids to enjoy. There are beaches too of course. Should be a less expensive and more fun day than Alton Towers. Good luck and I hope you all have a great time.

Do you have a paint ball arena in town? Try an arcade. Not the sleazy types downtown but big ones. Depending where you are if it's hot or cold out you could go to some type of amusment park. I think your best bet for a 12 year old boy would be paintball or arcade though.

Rent a room where they have a swimming pool. And many hotels/motels have a family package. This would include pizza, soda and the pool. This is something that my boys look forward to doing at least once a year, especially since it is cold outside and the pool is so warm. It is a great chance to have a sleepover and not have to clean up the mess. Good luck and God bless****

Take him to some sort of game, or maybe to a go-kart place? Maybe a theme park? It depends on how much cash you have.

Maybe take them on a scuba outing? Or sailing? Not sure if you live by water or not. We need more specifics!!!!

What is he into?

I don't know how much extra cash you have...but I know taking them in a limo goes over welll with kids that age. We took my son and a few of his friends to a ball game in a limo and they still talk about how much fun it was.
