well my best friend's birthday is next week.. he's gonna be 17.. we're doing him a surprise party but i wanna do him something so special..specially dat we've not been on good terms lately so i wnna do him something that may change the whole thing.. i mean a memory or sth cute.. not meaning the gift or how to work out the surprise... help guyz ASAP..thxx

The surprise party is already kind of special, but I guess you mean something from you (rather than the group) to let him know how much you care and want to make up. His birthday is just an excuse?
So, why don't you ask him out? lol... that would be a very good memory for him and something cute, and will sure be a surprise.

For my Best friends Surprise Party I handed out Silly String to everyone and they all hid it behind their back then I took a Plain white T-shirt and drawed a big red Bulls eye on it and wrapped it in a box when he pulled out the shirt and held it up and got that confused look on his face we let him have it. He was covered from head to toe it was hysterical. Don't worry about the string it comes off very easy it just pulls off. Good luck with the party.

I know you said you didn't want a gift idea...but why not rent him a hot car for the day? That would be something he would always remember.
