I dreamt that I was pregnant. It was so real. The head of the child was sticking out from the left side of my stomach. I felt the weight, and all of the tiredness in my dream. Then (still in the dream) the baby wasn't in my stomach anymore. In my dream I began to cry. Then I woke up. I also feel it is important to say that I am infertile and cannot have children. WHat did this dream mean? Will I ever have children?

Dreams basically are platforms where our hidden desires and fears manifest themselves. Sometimes they do so in subtle ways!

The fact that you are infertile is obviously weighing heavily upon your thought processes. (Hence the EMPTY stomach: - also the 'pregnancy gone wrong' bit of the baby's head sticking out of your stomach.).

Dreams are also a way of dealing with a stressor, which this certainly is. My advice would be to seek counselling, you obviously need to talk to someone who can help you talk through this problem.

I am really sorry for you, but don't give up!

The dream is a realization of your fears. Perhaps, you are anxious about having children or even your sexuality. Are you battling desires that you feel are unnatural? You are afraid that you will never have children. Dreams, most usually, are interpretations of our fears. In your case, you may have had trouble conceiving or even had miscarriages. If you want children and believe wholly that the world is a positive place, you will have a child. Maybe, one anyways.

Most dreams have nothing to do with the subject at hand!

I think that you are telling yourself that you haven't dealt with the emotional reality that you cannot have children.
