Yes!
And honestly, I think it will happen in the fairly near future. And I am sure that if they choose a candidate with a few brain cells, rather than some joke like Jesse Jackson, it would be a positive step for America as we are all from different nationalities in the melting pot of America.
By the way, it was but a century and a half ago that the Norwegians and the Swedes wouldn't go to the same church, but rather, they built seperate churches, sometimes less than a mile apart.
Honestly, the racism in America comes more and more from the minorities and less and less from the Europeans. Hate breeds hate. The cycle has got to stop.

Yes. The only requisite to becoming President is being born in America, and being at least 35.
side edit:
I'm seeing some confusion in the answers. Do you mean the question like this:
"Can non whites legally be president"
or like this:
"Could a non white become president some day?"

Absolutely and I think it's coming to that time soon. Good People want to see a leader, someone with common sense and good judgement. I could care less what color or sex the person is who is running for ANY office. I just want to know that they will represent me, my concerns and my community and my country. To me, the leading non white person at this time is Obama. WHY? Because he speaks clearly, stands up straight, talks with authority and impresses people with his knowledge on the subject matter. On the other hand....Hilary Clinton??? Get real. She impresses me as a self-serving, con artist and we have had enough of that kind of president.
There will always be racist's, bigots and evil people and it will take a tough person to stand up to that kind of problem BUT I think Obama may just be that person.

yes, The problem, I believe, is that before this can happen their has to be a candidate that is worthy of the office and not the jokes that have run in the past, Jesse Jackson, always part of the problem, Al Sharpen, about as sharp as a hammer. There are a few out there that might be able in 2012 or 16.

Yes they just have to meet the requirements. Age, political status, and be American citizen. But the most important thing is of course be voted in. There are probably some others but you get the idea.

Are you asking if it's legal, or if it will ever actually happen?
Legal, yes. Actually happen? Not as long as the Democrats are in power. As much as they talk the talk, they don't walk the walk. George W. Bush has appointed more minorities to high-ranking positions than any other president (including the liberals' beloved "first black president" Bubba Clinton).
Unfortunately, many people don't look at facts, but choose to believe whatever crap the media feeds to them.
