Why can't I download from Bittorrent?

I've just downloaded the program and I've started running it but I cant download anything. Is there a certain way its done or what? I try to put in a search in that little rectangular box in the top right corner and click on the"search" button but no dice. What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure. Go to isohunt or another site like that and try from there?

Bittorrent is a bad place to find torrents. Try www.demonoid.com or www.torrentspy.com. Try to download torrents that have a higher # of seeds. (legal torrents only odviosly, wouldnt want to break the law)
