Are students allowed to use correction fluid in their homeork in Canada's high schools? My teacher who is from Canada doesn't allow us to use correction fluid in our work. Is it banned in homework and exams?

actually the law was passed in 2001, it is illegal to use it in high schools, as is the use of jet engines in our country.

i had a teacher in high school who wouldn't let any one use it, she thought it made too much of a mess. kidding about the first part though.

No it is not banned across the country. Several schools or school boards have banned it because it can be messy, and students should not be passing in homework papers covered in fluid. (Also, there have been incidents of students "sniffing" the fluid in an attempt to get high). If things are typed (and they mostly are these days) then there is no excuse.
Your teacher probably has a personal reason not to accept it, she probably expects clean papers returned to her.

You don't actually think Canada has promulgated a national policy on this issue, do you?

Just as with many teacher foibles, this one's individual.
