My husband and I married in 1998 and found out weeks later we were expecting our first child. But my husband is in the Navy and had to leave on a six month deployment when I was five months pregnant and that meant he would miss not only the birth of our son, but wouldn't even get to see him until he was a few months old. The ship actually got to come home a little earlier then expected, which was right around Christmas, and seeing him hold our baby for the first time and being with us for the holidays was the greatest gift I have ever received.

Worst Christmas presents I gained have been from my ex-grandparents. i'm no longer blabbing approximately my grandfather because of the fact he's kicked the bucket. no longer his fault besides. I enjoyed him and forgave him. i'm no longer precisely Christian, yet out of appreciate for my father and his mothers and fathers, I celebrated Christmas and Chanukah. I waited for Christmas to open my presents. My Christmases weren't that sturdy and that i made up lost cases once I had undesirable. i did no longer submit a Chanukah bush this 12 months. yet, I have been given undergarments (needed), small bag of tissues (ninja turtles, i replaced right into a woman!), no longer something ever on my 'yuletide' checklist relatively. I form of gave up and moved onto what i'd desire to purchase with my own money. regardless of the undeniable fact that, it does harm whilst all you like for yuletide replaced into books. Any form of books as long because it replaced into fictional and not non secular. i'm a reader.

i think i would have to say my family, in the past ive always hated christmas.....i would convince my boss to let me open the grocery store i work at every year, just to be able to avoid christmas day...since i've been married to my wife, ive had a change of heart about christmas now i enjoy it and actually close down the store for the whole day...so the greatest gift of all is being with my family on christmas....oh yeah the kid rock tickets the year before last was great tooo
