Whatever you do decide to do PLEASE DO NOT use Proactiv, it is the biggest rip off I have every seen in my life.

I was having a mild problem w/ acne and no cleanser or washes were working. I did some research in Proactive, the difference between it and most over the counter acne tretments is 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, most products use Salyiclic Acid which isn't effective for moderate acne.

I went to drug store and found Spectro Acne wich is the EXACT same as Proactive. Spectro Acne costs $6 for a bottle which has lasted me over 2 months now where Proactive is $30/month and you have to buy a 3 month supply.

Don't waste your money!!!! Spectro Acne is awesome, I use it twice a day and my skin is flawless now, I have gotten the odd zit but 95% of the time my skin is clear (and it won't dry out like Proactiv, they inlcude a toner which causes your skin to flake when used in conjunction w/ the Benzoyl Peroxide)

Well you need to find face products and a skin routine that works for you. Wash your face every morning with an acne face wash, tone and then moisturise with an oil free moisturise do this morning and night x2 a day( clean and clear has great stuff). Vitamin E cream over time will fade pimple scars and so will Mederma ( this is more expensive ).
Drink a lot of water so your skin is fresh and use a skin illuminiser like Revlons Skin Lights on your cheeks so skin glows.
What your skin looks like on the outside has a lot to do with your body on the inside so eat your fruit and veggies!

well, first clean your face. You can buy some face clenser or acne creame or whatever at a beauty place or get it from your doctor. Wash a couple times a day. Avoid foods with tons of grease and avoid lots of chocolate and that will also help your face. Also, buy some face powder, base, or foundation for your face that will also cover up some of the acne.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

If you have a real acne problem, try Proactive. I have a friend that uses it, and the results are amazing.

Unfortunately, you need cosmetic surgery to get rid of acne scars, but you can cover them with any decent foundation. Just make sure you're not using something oily, or your acne will just get worse.

Use a mild cleanser like clinique or the Biore line. I also have acne prone skin and I use exfoliator (Biore) an at home microdermebrasion (Ponds) every night. then toner (Clean and Clear), then moisturizer (Biore Shine Stop Moisturizer). My acne is reducing dramatically and the red marks are going away!

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

From self experience I've always cleaned my face very good at least 3 times daily with alcohol. In between cleanings, keep cocoa butter rubbed on your skin to vanish marks and scars.

Well, I always used proactive but I started using a cheaper brand called AcneFree and it works just as good. Or try using alcohol it dries them out really quick. Any facial product with benzoyl peroxide will help get rid of them.
