I like number 2. It is so true. When you are younger, you throw the word "love" around just to make boys/girls feel comfort so you can have sex with them. It doesn't mean anything at the time. I guess telling someone you love them when you are younger justifies the sex.
When you are middle-aged, and know what love is, is it said for complacency. You know you love each other, but your life together doesn't necessarily depend on those words. You are content with the one you love.
When you are old, you need to depend on love. Love from your family is number one because you never know when you are going to pass away.
