There are tons of kids in the world that need homes..but i think that celebrities should, rather than hand picking a child from a third world country, find kids in America that need homes first. Yes I understand that all homeless orphans need homes..but why not start here first..then go overseas and get some kids to raise. If they want to help those kids in other countries...send them some money and food...that will help them more than taking 1 child away from them. I mean the kid that Madonna adopted...has a dad. For goodness sake..there are kids all over the us that need homes and she goes and takes a kid from his home...what an idiot.

I would have to disagree. I do think that if you are privaleged enough to afford adopt a child who would otherwise live a life of poverty, then they should. They should however have to follow the normal procedure and not be allowed to skip the queue!
There are people who desperatley want children but are unable to have their own - which is so sad. But no-one should be jumped to the from of the queue because they are famous, or have bags of money.

Adopting children is a good thing. Adopting foreign children as accessories is just disgusting.
If you are talking about the Jolie/Madonna African children i am assuming they have used American law because English law would not let a White couple in England adopt a black child

I actually think all "mentally stable" (that gets rid of a bunch of whacked out folks) celebrities should be required to adopt children. Why not? They have the resources. I do, however, think that they should be subjected to the same screening process that every other person looking to adopt is subjected to.

Why not? Being spoiled isn't the worst thing in the world, and I bet they'll learn values, education with the best schools and all sorts of good things will come out of their growing up.

i mean i hope they are adopting so they can be better parents than the child's previous ones, i guess spoiling them is included, I don't know what you are really asking... but it sounds like you are saying orphans should be spoiled and celebs should adopt cuz they are rich and they can afford to spoil? just guessing...
