In the current form I consider the best as he has been more consistent as compared to Sachin and Lara of late, though he is no where near to the record of 40 centuries scored by Sachin.
Please note that my assessment of Ponting as the best at present and not the best ever.

three of them are best in other other ways:
1) Ricky Pointing: he got the award this year and he sometimes also saves his team from trouble.
2)Sachin Tendulkar:he is called mater blaster ad little master so he can also be special
3)Brain Lara: he is also good as he has got 400 notout record..
so we aren't the ones to decide whos good

B.C Lara he has the world record he is the biggest thing in test please dont compare Ricky Pointing that is an insult lara is in a higher class.

1.Ponting and Lara
2.Sachin(He's gud but he just goes down suddenly but when he is fit enough he's the best)
