Yes, Laxman is a better player than Ganguly at the moment, as he is replacing Dravid. He suits more in that role than Ganguly.

However both should be selected for tests, be it home or away.

ABSOLUTELY It IS NOT.

What then?

PRESENT LOT BE REMOVED. S/SHRI
BCCI-PAWAR
SELECTOR-VENSARKAR
COACH-CHEPPAL
CAPTAIN-DRAVID, SEWAG
THE WHOLE TEAM.

A fresh selection is made after deciding criteria for selection for each post. For example DRAVID WILL MAKE 10 - 63 RUNS IN 108 BALLS, It is equivalent to 30 - 160 runs in 50 overs. Such negative play to be retained in the team can make individual statistics good, BUT INDIA CAN NEVER WIN.

SUNIL G. also did same thing.

They are good for test but not for ODI.

In the selection criteria shall ensure that these negative factors are taken in account.

SECONDLY,

If team does not win,
change 2 b,man, 2 blrs, 1 all rndr, 1 wickt kpr ( if did not do well).

If team does not win series,

REMOVE

BCCI-PAWAR,
SELECTOR-VENSKR
COACH-CEPAL
CAPTAIN-DRVD, SWG
THE WHOLE TEAM

Make again a fresh selection.

INDIA IS FULL WITH TALENT BUT POLITICS AND REGIONALISM HAS MADE IT A ROT.

Pl come out of POLITICS and REGIONALISM.
Give chance to the BEST CAPABLE, RESPONSIBLE INDIAN.

I AM SURE INDIA WILL WIN AGAINST ANY TEAM IN THE WORLD.

Is it ok?

SURELY.

I consider Laxman as ideal replacement for Dravid as he is a
batsman having sound defence and technique, which is required for the team at present.

Very Very particular Laxman is perchance better than each person else in words of free flowing organic expertise, yet what drags him down in words of average stats is his being the Lax guy; he doesn't seem to have the consistent inner fireplace and backbone to excel previous others, even as each and every time he receives going, it isn't something short of ask your self wherefrom does he get the awsome ability in the back of the photos; i believe there by no ability has been a extra useful wristy participant than our VVS for relishing the magic of wristy strokes!! Of late, he has been taking section in substantial roles both in saving suits for India even as required, or taking ahead a reliable initiate to previous 550 runs in an innings, and that is the perfect function he can play coming in at #5. Of late, he has also better his close-in fielding. He has continually stimulated an awe from his teammates and opponents alike, and now he appears like a settled determination for #5 fit in attempt batting line-up for sometime to come back!! i'm sensible his self assurance is continually on upward thrust and we can assume a lot extra from him contained in the arriving months. My Hearty Congratulations and perfect needs to our dearest Very extremely straight forward Laxman.

Yes it was a right move considering Laxman selection to the test team was certain. He will get early exposure to the bouncy track of South Africa before the test series start.
