when time no longer means anything to you, then essentially time has stopped for you, and that is equivalent to you stopping the time.

Here are some answers, depending on your personality and point of view. Fall in love; time sometimes stops for lovers. Get totally absorbed in a great book, and before you know it, it will be morning. Mystics who commune with God or Reality rise above time or abolish it. In moments of utter inspiration, some writers, musicians, artists rise above time or go beyond it. People who jog steadily sometimes achieve a high, one of whose qualities may be timelessness. The opposite: a boy who wants school to be over finds that the clock hardly moves; an individual who is tired of life finds life a matter of tedious tomorrows, leading only to dusty death (Shakespeare in "Macbeth"). You will find a sustained and sad meditation on time and the timeless in the second section of William Faulkner's "The Sound and the Fury."

Take the battery out of your clock or watch and for other
clocks or watches, don't wind them up or better yet, go
take a very long hike into the deep dark woods or the
mountains and don't take a watch or clock with you and
you'll definitly lose all track of time.
