Hounslow is West London There are 3 tube stations that serve the area Hounslow East, Hounslow Central, and Hounslow West. Over ground you Have Hounslow Station and Isleworth station is close by. Hounslow is not, strictly speaking part of London. It is about 3 miles South West of Richmond, which is about 6 miles South West of the City and is best served by Osterley tube station.
It's about 25 minutes into the centre of town by underground (tube).
It's also bang underneath the flight path into Heathrow most days, has quite a high asian community, and is a tiny hop from the M4 Junction 5.
