I neve settle anymore, I deserve my own "perfect" man so therefore I have standards and if they don't meet them they are kicked to the curb. Every one is different and have their own idealistic perfect man, but I don't put up with rudeness (as if their mothers didn't teach them how to respect ladies), abuse (pysical or emotional), and if something bothers me about them I tell them straight up and if they are not willing to change, I'm on to the next. I had to learn how to speak up and not settle for less, everyone deserves to have what they want... speak your mind...

What I'm not willing to put up with is abusive behavior, abusive language, an unkept appearance, unemployement , and instability.
What I will put up with is, a caring spirit, someone who makes me laugh, a clean appearance, and belief in Jesus.

I've put up with a lot of crap in the name of love. Now that the object of that love is gone, I understand how unhealthy it was and will never do it again no matter how much I care for someone. Sacrificing my own happiness for the sake of another turned out to be a huge mistake.

I am putting up with a lot right now. My man is in prison, has been for 3 years. I have put up with his ex, his moodiness, EVERYTHING!! It has been a very rough ride, but he gets out in 2 months. I am not willing to put up with someone telling me what to do and trying to change my beliefs to suit theirs.

love is unconditional: so when you love someone - you might HOPE that some things about them will change (like dress sense :) but LOVE means that you will love them for ever EVEN IF NOTHING changes. hectic. BUT some things should not be put up with: abuse etc because letting someone get away with that doesnt mean you love them - it means he / she has issues and if you loved them you'd MAKE them sort them out- or leave them to show its unacceptable behaviour

i can put up with a lot of things like farting (which he loves), falling a sleep while I'm talking to him,him checking out girls while he's out with me (some times i also join in, and it becomes really fun then).
what i won't put up with is lying, cheating and mental as well as physical abuse. (and i know i don't have to worry about these things)

If I love a woman, I will do something about my bad tempered. Cause I don't like to quarrel.
