because they have a huge sense of patriotism!
it starts when they are young having to do the pledge of allegiance thing!!!
also their media and culture has the attitude that they r the best!!!

they are basically the new hitler youth but americanised!!!

Because they do not understand sarcasm, nor does their comedy include an aspect of laughing at one's self. If you can laugh at yourself then other people laughing at you is less offensive or annoying.
