Such as going to a gig/concert, clubbing, eating in a restaurants, etc. I know lots of people always need to find somebody to go anywhere with. I think the reason is because people don't feel confident on their own which is a bit sad really.

I feel comfortable on my own in public places and have no problem with going alone, although going with someone else can be fun too. I do however sometimes get tired of the looks I get from people when sitting alone in a restaurant or the cinema. I wonder if people who feel this strong need to always go with someone to such places think that everyone else is like that. They seem to think I have no friends since I didn't drag anyone along with me.

If I go to a concert, it's to watch one of my friends perform, and I can do that alone. I'd prefer to eat alone in a restaurant so I can get in, eat, and get out without having to be interesting while jamming food in my mouth. As for clubbing, I'd much rather go with someone so at least when I'm drunk and falling on myself, someone else will be there to point at me and laugh. It just makes it more fun.

Being a mother of three, I find going places alone a whole lot cheaper.
