If Ur fathers blood group is AB X Mothers ?
|
|
Ur's is AB

Answers--->
--------------------

1. Father AB X Mother AA ----> Ur's may be AA or AB

2. Father AB X Mother OA (Means A-group) ----> Ur’s AO or BO (means all will be A-group)

3. Father AB X Mother AB ---> Ur’s AA (A-group) or AB (AB-group) or BB (B-group)

4. Father AB X Mother BB ---> Ur’s AB (AB-group) or BB (B-group)

5. Father AB X Mother OB (Means B-group)

---> Ur’s OA (A-group) or AB (AB-group) or BB (B-group) or OB (B-group)

So, Ur mother’s might be case 1 or 3 or 4 or 5 , but not case 2

All the groups except type O
You see she could never be type O because she have to "donate" some genes.
If she is type A then your dad donate the B
If she is type B then your dad donate the A
If she is type AB then your dad donate either the A or the B
Type O does not fit in the scheme because you are AB and O does not have any of these

In other words you actually need to carry out a test to establish the blood group, but from this information you have provided she could be in all the groups except type O. Good luck

I think that your mother would have to be either A, B, or AB like you. I don't think that she could be type O. By the way, AB is considered the universal donor. It is the rarest blood type, I think.

Your mother could be A or B or AB.
If your mother were A, you could have inherited the A gene from your mother and the B gene from your father, making you AB.
If your mother were B, you could have inherited the B gene from your mother and the A gene from your father, making you AB.
If your mother were AB, you could have inherited the A gene from your mother and the B gene from your father or vice-versa.
The only group your mother could not have been is group O.

AB is rare, but O is universal. She could be A, B, AB, or O. Unome was incorrect and Sarek was correct.

your mom could have anything. o just means one doesn't have either A or B present. it doesn't mean they have anything additional. so....if you add 1 (AB) plus 0 (o) you get 1, right? AB plus O equals AB.

if your mom had A. it would be AB plus A equals AB.

if she had B. it would be AB plus B equals AB.

if she had AB. it would be AB plus AB equals AB.

O,A, B, or AB
the person above is wrong, AB is not universal donor. O is universal donor, AB is universal recipient.
