I think everyone on the planet goes through a time when they hate their name and blame their seemingly unexciting life on it.
I like to believe that a newborn child is the sole focus of his/ her parent(s) love, pride and hope for the future. In that moment of limitless love, the parent(s) give you a name that to them at the time is extremely special and fitting only to you. It is a gift from your parent(s) that you will carry with you until you die. It can comfort you, anger you, inspire you, and sometimes bore you to tears.
I personally think Danielle is a beautiful, sophisticated and very feminine name.

No, its not. I won't say that no names are boring. Some can be when they're really short or when you couldn't make any nick names with it. I think that my name's not very good, but lots of others say that its very nice. Depends on how you look at it.
I think that your names beautiful. You can be called Dan or Dani or anything you want. I think thats great.

Everyone's name is boring at some time or other...Personally I think it's a beautiful name, but I don't carry it around all the time. You could always try introducing yourself a different way like Dani or even Elle (there you go...like the model).

First of all it's the one who bears the name that decides wheter it's boring. Look at Maria. My librarian's named that. But the Westside story Maria...ah love!
So no I wudn't say any name is boring but it matters wat sort of person or animal or plant or inanimate thing holds the name.
PS my bunny's just called bunny and that's a great boring word made nice.

Hey peridotgl...,

No, I think it is a really good selling name. It affects the subconscious, being a Male name at the root, but really a female. Kind of 'tom boy grows up'.
