Your modem is set to Wake Up On Ring. Turn that off.

I guess your system's BIOS settings of
WAKE ON MODEM should have been enabled.

That may be the reason for ur computer getting switched on when you get a call in your phone

I'm not sure what you mean switches on, so I am going to assume you mean the screen comes back on. This is most likely due to the modem being set to answer, either through the modem settings or a program.

If your PC has a fax or dial up modem installed that is connected to your phone line then it is probably a setting in some software either FAx or AnswerPhone that wakes up when rining is detected.

You need to take a close look at the software installed on your PC

My computor use to do that all the time. Its to do with the way it is set up.

I think you need to check your modem and telephone settings and it will sort out problem. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, its been a few years since i fixed mine.

Check the bios if your using dialup and it is plugged in your computer that could be the problem.

because you have your modem turned on I have the same trouble the modem is a dialout external

cuz its not good to be the cp near the pc cuz ammm i cant explane it to u ehhh cuz of the segnal i think ehh
