You are too cute!! They dragged YOU to see "Happy Feet"? You're not fooling me. I know you dragged them to go see it! BTW, yes the popcorn is way tooo expensive.

It is extortionate and a blatant rip off.What I do with my kids is get our treats from the supermarket before we go.Even the bags of chocolates are laughable.Way overpriced.I get exactly the same chocolates for less than half the price.Or simetimes they do a buy one get one free deal.It is nothing to feel bad about.Lots of people take their own treats.They are the ones laughing!! Saving money.Once when I went to the cinema with my man,we took a couple of cans of beer and sat up the back.It's not being a scrooge either,it's extra money that could be spent on the kids.Happy viewing.
I nearly forgot,my last moan.The coke is full of ice!! Watered down dishwater.

Ha! This is a good one. Yes it seems like everything at the movies is so high priced these days. You pay like $2.50 for a large candy bar, that goes for $1 at wallmart. Oh well, just smuggle in some food, but deal with the popcorn price I guess.

Yes, the question I have is they pop some and then add the pre-popped popcorn into the bin, where is the factory where it is popped in the first place. Who knows someone who works in a popcorn factory? That was just too many pop words.

and yes the prices are too high
if you get the popcorn it will make you thirsty so you'll want to buy a drink too

Heck yes!! It's unreal the prices they charge!! I guess those movies stars and the execs. have to make their money, but do they have to make so darned much of it. Break it down by individuals and groups that pay for their tickets and buy snacks, and by how many people are in the theater...the profits are mind boggling!!

it is way more expensive at the cinema stores than in a regular shop - me and my girlz just take our own from now...i mean der aint no point in buyin it fo mo cash wen you can get popcorn which tastes better for less money!
