because i have been watching it for many years and it has a very interesting story line!
i would like to say that people are confused:

I used to watch quite a few soap opera's such as All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital. But the best soap of all time is the Young & the Restless. They have the best storylines and keep the viewers glued to their couches. They weren't #1 for 900+ weeks for nothing. That show is awesome. I have been watching it for 20 years and I'm still in my 20's. My dad has been watching it since he was a junior in high school. We're dedicated fans and the show deserves it cause it's the best!

My favorite soap is Days of Our Lives. It's probably because I have watched it off an on since I was 19. I'm 30 now. The storylines are sometimes almost laughable in their obsurdity. Still, there is something comfortable about watching the same characters for year after year. It's something predicable. Besides, it makes my life seem normal when I watch that nonsense.

I just love The Bold and the Beautiful. The dialogues and storylines are so lame that it is absolute comedy.
For example:
Thorne and Ridge talk.
Ridge: Thorne it's about Angela.
Thorne: What about Angela?
Ridge: She's not dead.
Thorne: What do you mean? (Which is basically all Thorne ever says)
Ridge: She's alive.
Profound stuff, eh?
