I ahve often wondered this myself, I think it's prob because they can't ever keep their mouths shut for long enough to concentrate! -

Dear Ella I have seen u repeatedly asking similar question. You listen too much to people action through mouth. I was like that. Let me ask u onething - are u taking this habit of watching mouth in positive way? Do u comment on this positive or -ve?
If it is negetive, immedeately u have to abandon this habit. Also do not watch so close and get sticky.
I am giving few sugestions only . u can dismiss this or take it. I was a victim of that and it has got its side effect on us.

Hi well this is good question i don't know i think 2 widen thier eyes cos it's the same wiv me whenever i put on mascara i open my mouth aswell

They open their mouths to do everything. The only time their gobs are shut is when your getting the cold shoulder treatment.

yeah i always do this and know others do to, so i wondered why on TV programs when you see people doing it, they don't have their mouth open too!? - just poor acting, or not wanting to look really silly in front of the camera! lol

Because they want to and it helps to put on mascara better, people have their reasons.

I don't know it's like a reflex or something! I open my mouth and tense my jaw. It's really weird!

you have a real thing about this dont ya, just read your other questions, its all about opening mouths,lol i can do it with mine closed, prob just an old pro now tho

They don't HAVE to, but in my experence, it widens the eye, and makes it easier to apply the mascara.

They don't. I think for some it's like a reflex action but if they stop and think about it they probably wouldn't do it. I used to but don't any more.
