i took half of a sleeping pill around 5:30 am and im still wide awake why?

the normal dose is 2 pills but i only took a half of one and only fell sleep for a half hour and now im wide awake again do u think it wore off or is it just me??

It probably did wear off. Take a normal dose.

Some people have the opposite reaction to sedatives.
