I'd be cautious if I were you, particularly at this still early stage of the season.
The 2nd tier of English football has always proved to be a tough division to get out of. Early season form can, and have been so often replaced with dire runs after the mid-season.
If you harbour too much hope now, you'll be gutted if they do miss out. You can't relax until your team is among the top 2, and have a healthy gap over the chasing pack.
Currently, you're only in the chasing pack and as much as you can go forward, you could easily lose 1 or 2 close games, and find yourself out of the pack.
I don't watch Championship footy much, so I can't tell how good the standard is presently. But you know your team well and their main rivals as well.
So basically, you probably more than all the replies here, know best where the season is heading for Stoke.
Nevertheless, I wish your club every success in this endeavour.
