No. Nostrodamus made hundreds of predictions in his lifetime and just the sheer number of them made it possible for a few to be right. We all could do the same thing: there will be three car accidents next week, an unusually warm day in January, a large earthquake in an underdeveloped nation in the next two years and a plane crash in 2007.
I just gave four examples of "predicting the future" and there's a possibility that at least one will come true. Doesn't make me a genius or fortune teller, just someone who knows how the world is these days...just like he knew how the world worked when he was around.

I don't think his predictions are real. I once saw a show about Nostradamus on the Discovery Channel. It said that he had predicted the event of 9/11. But the show was broadcasted in 2003 or 2004. Why do they need to say that Nostradamus had "predicted" these events when it already happened?!

In order to keep out of trouble with the church by being labeled as a heretic, Nostradamus had to be very careful about his writings. As a result, he was very vague and selective about the words that he chose. Consequently, his writing are open to wide interpretation, thus being applied to a number of events that has happened in the past, or even currently. Yet, nobody has been able to use his documents to accurately portray the future. Only after an event has passed, do people associate a quatrain with an event.

no, because like all the others Nostradamus' predictions can be interpreted by the reader many different ways because of the vague way in which they were written.

Obviously not because according the translations of the quatrains we would all be dead and in a nuclear war by the year 2000. Coincidence and similarities can be stretched a long way. Like statistics.
