Because - TWICE...! - today I tried to ask the following question:

"They killed tens of thousands...! Should Tony Bliar and GWBush be prosecuted for War Crimes...?"

BUT as soon as I pressed "SUBMIT" my server crashed... and the question was lost (TWICE...!!!)

However, I've had no trouble sending questions before or since...! And - as you can see - they let this one through...!!! (Although, I didn't add these details UNTIL IT HAD...!!!

ATTENTION "christopher":
You only "SAW my question posted" because I'd tried YET AGAIN - FOR A THIRD TIME...!!! - and finally put it there... But only AFTER it had already failed to go through TWICE and I succeeded in posting THIS ONE...!!!
It was no computer failure...!!! Somebody didn't want me to post that question. But by posting this one I guess I made it difficult for them to continue blocking it... That's all...!!!

No I don,t think that Yahoo Questions are Censored , by any form of "Political Bias" -- If I did I wouldn,t use the facility -- but in Fainess there must be limits to some aspects of Questions and Answers -- however all aspects of any "limitations" are clearly defined in "Community Guidlines" -- The word Guideline means exactly what it says --Suggest you Look it Up ---- Good Luck to You.

if you are reported, your answer or question is immediately put in jeopardy. They do not remove anything close to all reported material, but as soon as something draws enough attention to be reported a dozen times, I'd say it's chances of having a long lifespan here plummets.

And, on another note, there are a lot of hardcore trolls here who never ask real questions, but make speeches, and generally treat yahoo answers like a urinal. These people deserve to have their yahoo ID deleted post haste.

Peace

confident. I merely have been given annoyed because of the fact they bumped off my question "could John McCain be arrested for stealing Barack Hussein's "thunder" on Friday?" heavily, why is that SO undesirable it had to be deleted different than for their very own political time table? I additionally had a query deleted that asked if yahoo is merely too liberal. YOINK!!! All long previous. Now, consider me or no longer, those questions wouldn't have been deleted. they are/have been non-offensive and strategies alot of folk would choose to chime in on. they are going to in no way get that hazard now because of the fact too a lot of human beings cry and so does yahoo.

I don't think either leader has done wrong in this war, and i think we should pull all troops out and Nuke the country flat, that way there will still be some oil for our future, even if it is a few thousand years from safe collection, and no bloody civil war.

Questions are automatically deleted when someone with nothing better to do reports you. Yahoo Answers doesn't censor anything; they just provided guidelines to follow. Some people think that it gives them some kind of power, so to fulfil their power addiction, they look for something that they can be offended by.

It seems to me they have been using a mostly hands off policy. I could be wrong. I got some violation notices because I knocked the foundation out from under someone making ridiculous claims and asking loaded questions. He even emailed me to tell me he was reporting anything he saw with my name on it. All reported as SPAM. You must have ruffled someones feathers I guess. Reporting is bad juju....

And good luck getting anything other than a canned form letter from the support team.

I don't think they censor few questions or answers unless they are in chinese. the chinese govt. requires foreign companies otcensor such words as freedom, democracy, ec, these words are considered bad for chinese people and may mkae the crazy according to the chinese government.
However Ithink yahoo deletes anyquestions oranswers anyone reports as abuse regardless or how silly or offending the person reporting abuse is.one of my answers was deleted because i disagreed with a 16 year old kid sticking his hand on his adult cousins boobs. I offended the kid. and yes they dodelete questions for the same reason just a simple click of the mouse from anyone with or without reason.

I think its when some one right or wrong reports you they violate but never investigate! I know appealing violations does not help, although yesterday I recieved a contact address at yahoo, and while I am awaiting a direct response maybe if we all contacted her it may help?

In a country where people are supposed to be brainwashed into believing everything they are told, free thinkers are a frightening prospect for the brainwashers to deal with.

This could be coincidental. Its a fairly inoffensive question. A number of my own are far more accusitive it the Bush Administration.
