Why does France have more culture than the rest of the world ?

You have to admit that France concentrates the more historical monuments, places and so on.... But what's your opinion ?

Don't mistake arrogance for culture, if you are counting the number of historical monuments as the score for culture, keep in mind that France is about the size of Texas. We have more monuments in Washington DC than all of France.
Their country has been around for thousands of years vs. our 230 years. (This does give the advantage on some architecture)
I am taking for granted you are in America you may not be, but don't let France make you feel inferior regardless of what country you come from. France has a lot to be ashamed of.

France has lots of historical monuments, but you're missing out wonders of the ancient world?

Egypt has the pyramids, and China the great wall of China. Both Egypt and China has history going back thousands of years.

Not 100% sure about this, but I believe that as Europe went throught the dark ages, Egypt and the Middle East were flourishing with art and and scientfic achievements??

I think even just looking at Europe its a tough call to say that France has the most culture let alone globally!!

My opinion having travelled around the world is that France does not have more culture than the rest, most of Europe has great culture , and so so many other countries and since I moved from the UK to Florida I would have to say that I find there is a great sense of culture in this country also! It's all a matter of where you feel comfortable!

Because your wrong and if you look deeper you ll find allot more historical monuments in places like Egypt
your just basing an opinion on only the thing you know try watching the discovery channel or better yet get the
google earth thing and just go place to place and look for monuments I'm sure you ll find allot more that what you basing this question on

It's not just France, but mainly the whole of Europe. Chiefly England . Most other countries were either colonized or invaded by some European countries. thus their culture and traditions where altered.(eg Hong Kong, India ).
Some countries are new as compared to the rest of europe. ( eg USA ).

Maybe that's why people tend to assume that Europe has more culture than the rest of the world!

It doesn't it's just that the rest of the world lets the French think that and it keeps them happy , that way they stopped blowing up Atols in the Pacific with nuclear weapons.
ALL countries have a great deal of culture to offer and France doesn't have a monopoly on culture by any stretch of the imagaination

Do I have to admit to that? I honestly think the USA, allows for all cultures to grow some part of their history within its borders. Even though alot of ignorant people are agianst it.
