I WANT TO GET MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TOGETHER AND CELEBRATE NEW YEARS IN A SAFE MANNER. I WANT TO BE WITH THEM ALL AND BRING IN THE NEW YEAR TOGETHER. IF THEY ARE WITH ME I KNOW THEY ARE NOT OUT GETTING HURT.

We will be going out for a nice dinner and having some champagne at midnight. I thought really hard a long time ago about getting drunk on New Year's Eve and decided to never do it again. I don't want that to be an indication of what my new year will be like. I know it sounds silly, but it just gave me a bad feeling.

My hubby and I will be hosting a party at our home. We will probably have a keg or two and we have tons of liquor. We have parties about every 3 months, so it won't be anything new. I am toying with the idea of having a specialty party.. like a toga party but better. It will be our first New Year's Eve Party in our new home... so I plan to make it something I'll never forget â¥

This year me and one of my very best friends are going to have a late Christmas because she is going to be with her family for the holiday so we will have our christmas on new years eve. I don't know if my other best friend will be joining us (if he doesn't I will be a little heartbroken) but I know that if nothing else it will be a really great "girls' night".

Going to bed early preferably before 12. New Year brings back sad memories and is so overrated. I can't stand all that palarva with the silly build up and then the countdown then the anti-climax afterwards. Horrible!!

I'm a staff nurse working in a busy Kent hospital, no doubt looking after people who have celebrated Christmas and New Year a little too well

The one thing I will not be doing is getting drunk. I will be having a wonderful day home with my family.

I don't do anything except stay in with my three cats. It is safer and I don't have to deal with drunk drivers on the roads.
