Led was definetly one of the greatest bands of our time. Thing is they are tagged for being some of the first to tie the heavy metal idea down when in fact it was Black Sabbath that was the for runners of heavy metal Led zepplin was merely the grandfathers of occult type sounds and using mystical themes and they where the first to reffer to the "Lord of the Rings" books in their music listen to "Ramble on" it is undoubtly based alot on the writings. Yes Led was a great band but without the drummer they havent got the same feel I saw Jimmy page and Robert Plant back on the No Quarter tour and I was let down by the fact they wouldn't do "stairway to heaven" people were pissed they screamed and was absoltuely ticked and I too lost alot of interest in them I figured i paid like 30 dollars for a ticket and didnt even get to hear the one song that i desired i said screw them. The only way i would want to see them reunite is if they could raise the drummer from the dead and put him back in place.

I would say that they are. Many bands are in existance today because of them.

I have mixed feelings too about them getting reunited. Unfortunately I was never able to see them live and would love to, but to me Led Zep is not the same without John Bonham on drums, nothing against Jason!

I do think LZ is the greatest band ever, and I would absolutely love for them to reunite. I would love for my children to experience led zeppelin.

It is EXTREMELY hard to choose just one band for greatest of all time. Personally, I do think they were the greatest. As for them getting back together with Jason.. I don't know. I think they should just leave it alone, since it never sounds the same when bands reunite. Just my humble opinion.

I think LZ is the greates tband ever and although I would dearly love to see them re-unite, I don't think it will ever happen. If they did tho, I would think they would do new stuff as well as the classics
