contact your local US Embassy for the current rates as they do change.

if you are visiting for the holidays i would suggest applying early for a "Nonimmigrant Visa" the maximum stay is 6 months with these, but wait times are increasing due to the amount of applications for the holidays!
Good Luck, And I hope to hear you've been able to step on over to the USA soon!

If you are going to the Philippines there is no need for a visa and no fund to present, you only need a visa if you will stay 21 days or more in the Philippines.

If you are going to get a tourist visa to United State of America, you can present at least Php150,000 ($3,000+) fund, single or multiple entry tourist visa. One of the requirements too is you must have a sponsors' letter and stated on the letter that your sponsor will be responsible for your visit there.

Good luck and God bless.
