Nurse while the plane is taking off and landing. This will help with the pressure changes.

Keep him in a carrier seat this way you will be able to get up tp go to the bathroom and move about a little also he will have his own space on the flight which will make him more comfortable., although it will be akward boarding the plane I'm sure you will get help. I traveled halfway around the world when my son was only 2 months old and the carrier seat was a big help.

I have flown with both my young children and I would try to get a night flight, nurse or bottle feed upon take off and landing, and while in the air I'd use a sweet pacifier, for when the pressure changes.

Consult with a doctor to see when would be a good time to travel with a baby. It's better when he's a little older, since you can take his favorite teddy bear or blanky to keep him comfortable. You may also want to check the different airlines to see what types of accomodations they offer for babies/toddlers on the plane to better acquaint yourself on what you can bring on the plain to make baby's small space as close to his regular surroundings as possible. Happy travelling!

I truly have flown with my infant fairly some cases. I held him in my lap each and every time. i did not worry with a sling. I checked my carseat & commute stroller on the gate. (I were given a cheap 'Snap-and-bypass' stroller that my carseat snaps into.) It change into basic for me to make my way with the help of the airport with the stroller & it change into waiting for me on the gate when we landed. fortuitously, i did not come upon and meanie infant haters on the plane. in the journey that they don't favor to be round human beings they ought to structure a private jet. I also nerve-racking about my infant's ears popping. I purely made constructive he change into sucking on the pacifier or ingesting milk at take off and touchdown so he change into able to equalize the pressure in his ear. an same way adults do it, all you may want to do is swallow and they are sparkling. Have an fairly good flight! i'm constructive easily everyone won't be able to attend to satisfy the hot infant. purely be constructive to inform them once you examine in that you've an 'infant in palms' in an attempt to make constructive you're not from now on in an emergency go out row. i change into truly nerve-racking the first time we flew too. you'd be effective!
