No person is Holy, the pope is just a man.Only God and His angels are Holy.

The presence of the Holy Spirit make a person holy.
The Pope is holier than me but not holier than my mother.
The Pope is a man just like any other world leader or ordained minister. He has been called by God to a very special ministry.

No one is more holier than another except maybe in his own mind.
God created all men( people) equal.
the pope is no more holier than any other church leader, it is simply the mechanics of the catholic machine that elavates him to the position . He is simply a figure head for the church to syphon its will and its power through.
There have been as many popes throughout history whose activities are definatley not holy...anything but

Yes the Pope is just a man...none of us is holier than one another. But we can be closer to God by reading His Word and talking to Him daily (praying)...and some people are closer to God than others. It's each person's choice as to how close of a relationship he or she has with God.

I agree with the statement that the pope is just a man. As fas as holiness is concerned I'm inclined to judge someone who is kind and helpful to other as holier than a person who is only interested in himself.

The pope is no different than you or I. If you arent Catholic he is just a man. He is only holy if you believe he is. God exists if you believe he does. If you dont believe in God then he wouldnt seem holy to you he would just seem like a man.
