That is probably the best way to get noticed, lol! Seriously, I ride with my high beams on all of the time, I wear a reflective vest and I equipped my scoot with an air horn. We can only do so much to be seen and even then, we still aren't seen by the cagers. It's a sad day when the reality is that we would probably have to ride naked in order for anyone to notice...

Sorry, I can't see the video from here.
The only thing I've found that does get noticed is when I put the big pole up with a 3' x 5' flag waving 4 feet above my head. I only do this for the 4th of July, parades, and funerals. I can't ride back & forth to work like that every day. The flag would get nasty dirty. And I like to take care of Old Glory.

Good clip- in many, many ways! Makes me wish Americans weren't so freakin' uptight and could see the message in something like this instead of whining about the obvious.

Sadly, the bottom line for ANY motorcyclist is to ride like you are completely invisible. Awareness ads are nice and all, but I don't think bikers will ever get the attention we need on the roads.

And right about now, that kind of riding will cause EXTREME shrinkage here in Colorado!

I been riding for years and my advice is...just assume that you are not noticed. I have a chrome german helmet and decently loud pipes on my hog...it helps, but people still cut me off every now and then.

When you approch intersections slow a bit and keep you hand and foot ready to break. When on a highway and you want to pass, look ahead for slow vehicles (I mean ahead of the car your going to pass). I do it quickly and then back down to a somewhat reasonable speed.

But the bottom line is when it's your time to crash...It is your time to crash. Could be a deer ran out at the last minute...nothing much you can do about that...just break and pray if you have time to react at all.

Funny video by the way.

That's a cool ad, but I'm afraid some of us would just become targets. :-)

We can only do so much to make ourselves seen. Cagers won't see you when their heads are up their asses. Ride like you're invisible.

Before anyone obtains a car license they should be required to ride a motorcycle first,it will make them more aware and better car drivers,

No matter how bright the light is or how loud the pipes are or how naked the rider is bikes will still go unnoticed....The rider has to know this to prevent accidents....
