Plastic surgery is like insulting God coz He made everything beautiful and in His own likeness. Anyone who supports plastic surgery is indirectly mocking God.

I think it's silly to fix things that aren't broken.

I think it's understandable that people may want to have plastic surgery when there is actually some problem, like when their face is really messed up after an accident or when their big boobs cause them constant backache or when someone who used to be really obese has lost a lot of weight and the skin is still huge and hanging etc. In such cases I think it's great that plastic surgery is possible.

But when it's about just adjusting a healthy body to look more like the person wants it to look, that's where the silliness starts. I think it's common that people (especially young girls and women) have insecurity issues and connect them with the way they look and want to get bigger boobs, a smaller nose, nicer lips or whatever. The insecurity issues can be dealt with without plastic surgery and if someone is really insecure they will probably continue to be insecure after plastic surgery too, they'll just find something else wrong with their body and keep having more and more plastic surgeries to fix it. It becomes such an obsession and it's simply not healthy. I think they would be better off dealing with the real problem - their confidence. They can learn how to love themselves just how they are. Nobody looks perfect (not even the models you see in commercials, they are photoshopped to look perfect too) and nobody has to.

They probably did it because of what they see in the media and their insecurity. Surveys have shown that there are a percentage of people who suffer from depression did plastic surgery and they regret that they did it. this shows that plastic surgery doesn't solve anything or give them newfound confidence because the problem lies with themselves, not their looks. Also I think teenagers who are 15 to 21 are really too young to do plastic surgery considering how most of them are still immature in their thinking. Half of the women in Korea under 18 or 16 have already gone under the knife, and I think that's sad as buying beauty wouldn't make them a better person, it just makes them have fake confidence.

i dont agree with plastic surgery. only if its going to improve one's health, or if its to rectify a deformation, or bad scarring etc. If its someone between 15 and 25, and its purely cosmetic, i'd suggest they wait until they are 100% sure thats what they want. God made us all with a plan in mind, theres a reason why we look the way we do. i'd suggest an intense investigation and research to make sure there are no negative side effects etc...some people end off worse than how they were because of the wrong procedures or bad doctors or institutions...

90 per cent of people do not need plastic surgery. The best thing you can do for yourself is to eat right and exercise. That is the best beauty secret out there. I can tell you, I have been very attracted to women who would be considered homely yet were very fit and healthy. A good body will get you everywhere.

I think plastic surgery is a must for me! I'm 16 right now, but I plan to get some work done to make my body more curvy.I already have really big breasts now I want a big butt. I want to get butt implants or injections when I'm older. But I don't think that you should get plastic surgery to look like a celebrity, you should get it to make yourself better and so you can feel more confident about being in your skin.

Somone this age will normally go to face plastic surgery because they feel their look is a barrier to them being accepted in their society (age group).

In case it is for this reason:
I personally believe everybody has much more than a pretty face to offer to a society, and should put more emphasis on such qualities as kindness, truth and be happy. Society will automatically accept them.

First off if you are underage you shouldn't be getting "vanity" plastic surgery. If it's necessary and you got parent's permission yes you can do it. I don't expect to see girls with fake breasts in jr. high or high school. That's just not right.
