bostik makes some of the best products to use for flooring installation.
SL-150 self leveling patch is reccommended for most tile, stone, terrazo and wood floor applications. a concrete primer is also suggested before using the self leveling compound.
see attached link for pdf data sheet on the sl-150.

IF your talking a Lanai then its outside right? You never want any thing outside totally level. If its level the water will never run off of it and it will puddle. If your Lanai has any large cracks then its probably not the best place to lay tile. If there are some minor imperfections you can just put a skim coat of mortar then lay your tile or use a ticker bed of thinset when you lay them. As you put them into the mortar you would use a straight edge to make sure they were all the same height and tap them into place with a rubber mallet. There is also a material they sell any place they sell tile and its called a crack isolator. Its a material that comes on a roll and you lay it under the tile to prevent any moment from below affecting the tile.

Ardex 15. Self Leveling (pourable) Cementitious Slurry.

You mix and pour it in up to 1/4" thick (the thinner, the better, though).
