I think it's the most effective way of advertising if you take into consideration that the majority of the population has a television set and those who don't own a television are likely not going to be able to afford most of the things advertised...

It's effective towards children.Us mother's usually do dishes and make tea when the ads are on.Or load washing.It is amazing what can be done in a tv break.I don't see the adverts.

It is effective cos it is pure brainwash but still there are some people insisting the word spreading is the most effective one!

very effective, much money is made from diet pills that do not work, people want to believe so bad that they will spend anything rather than diet and exercise. This is just one instance. Commercials make anything sound good and make people want to buy.

Oh, it's very helpful. I just watch TV and any ads I hate, like something truly stupid, annoying, irritating or just plain inappropriate, I make sure not to buy that product.

Saves me tons of money.

Its only affective now for kids, as we all know their game by now. We are only interested when we truely want something advertised. It's all about gimics.

Very uneffective...when you see so many, it's like you can blind yourself to paying attention to then when they come on aire!
