No, it is not OK. Being a Nazi wasn't a religion. It was a self-serving belief.

I don't think you should hate anyone, Jason. Decide they're completely wrong and you disagree with their set of beliefs - I know some of these are extraordinary, and myself I have a particular dislike for many of the dogmas of Catholicism, as well as much of "fundamentalist" Christianity (a friend of mine once said "the trouble with fundamentals is they're so . . . fundamental!" But actually hating a person because of the religion they follow - I think that's a mistake. I very much dislike Catholicism and the charismatic movement, but I don't hate anyone for being a part of that. I just think it's not for me. If their religion prompts them to do something very objectionable, then I can despise their behaviour. But there is a big difference between hating a person and hating an idea or behaviour.

I don't believe it right to hate someone else for thier beliefs. You may dislike thier beliefs but that doesn't necessarily make them a bad person. Everyone has a different interpretation of each religion. We all come from different cultures, backgrounds, family. If we were all the same where would we be individuals. I'm not saying that there aren't hypocrits out there but there are great and wonderful people of all relgions. It is up to you to see the good and common ground between you and them. We are all people with different beliefs and opinions. I don't know if you've heard what they say about opinions but it goes something like this,"Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one and most of them stink".

If your assumption that a religon is a set of beliefs and idiologies that one chooses to accept is right, then it would be ok to hate you for your nationality (presumably US American), since this is something YOU chose.
You'll probably say "hey, I did not choose, I was born to be American". Same is true to most believers. You can change your nationality as easily as you can change your religion.
And I DO dislike Americans for being Americans. No it's your turn to say "you shouldn't lump us together..." :-))))
(No offense, just tearing up your argument)

Wow, you sure do have a lot of anger in you.
"Bird's of a feather flock together" so if one chooses to associate with certain types, religion or otherwise, they take on the persona of that group. They choose that identity or set of beliefs, as you said. I think we judge every day, consciously and subconsciously. That's good. Hate might be too strong a word, though. Your comment about policing themselves is very valid. One religion I know of, Jehovah's Witnesses, are very sincere about keeping the congregation "clean". The elders are very loving and helpful but if a wrongdoer is persistent then it's "out of the pool"

I think I dislike muslims because of religion. I used to almost be a muslim and I am a christian now. I know that muslims are going to hell, no matter if they are good or bad.
Also about your police your own comment. That really is not possible with a belief system, you can't kick someone out of a belief , A priest or whatever can tell him all day he is no longer a blah blah but if he calls himself a blah blah and feels he is a blah blah, what can the other blah blahs do but? kill him? Are you advocating that?

ofcourse not. i think we should love one another despite what religion we follow. we are brothers and sisters so we should respect one another and not find faults between us.
religion does play a great role in our lives but that does not prevent us from loving others people who follow your religion or not. if you are a true believer then you would automatically not have a problem in liking someone else. if someone else does not follow the same religion as you then respect them just like you would respect someone from your own religion. and by being kind and loving always remember that you are setting an example for that person and by observing your moral behaviour they would might think about following the religion that you follow. a tru believer is one who wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself.

Everyone is imperfect, so to hate someone for their religion is stupid beacuse no one is a perfect member of their religion. If you don't agree with what they believe in, no one said you had to talk to them about their religion. Their is a saying I have heard in my religion, the church is perfect, but the people are not.
