let me know mine fell off over 2 years ago and still can't get it to stay up
have tried the sticky thing from car accessorie shop, blue tac, double sided sticky stuff, electrical tape plus all of em together and it might stay up for about a day.
I tend to drive around without it unless i'm going on a dual carriage way and then i use the electrical tape which will usually last the journey there and back.

Do you have the type of mirror that sticks to the windshield?
If so , you go to the local auto parts store. They will have a kit specifically for that application. It consists of two parts: a primer spray or wipe, and a glue agent. Follow the instructions precisely. First, you must remove the "shoe", a small plate of metal, from the mirror assembly. This will require a small Allen wrench, or screw driver. Then you clean the glass in the general area that the mirror will be attached. I use rubbing alcohol. Then spray, or wipe the priming agent and let it dry briefly. Apply the glue to the back of the shoe. Press it on the glass firmly. The directions will tell you to hold it for a period of time. DO THIS! It might be as long as 5 minutes. If you don't hold it for as long as suggested in the directions it will not hold. Make sure you get the orientation of the shoe right. If you put it on upside-down, you will never get it off without breaking the glass. When the stuff it put on correctly it is that strong! After you put the shoe on the windshield, walk away. The next day, slide the mirror onto the shoe and tighten the set screw. DON"T slide it on 'til the next day. I've done this dozens of times. Learn from my mistakes. My method is the right one.

You need to get youself down to Halfords and buy rear view mirror fixing kit. This includes a sticky pad for window and glass glue. Normal glue just won't do it. Trust me been there before.

You can get a kit specifically for this at Halfords (I presume we're talking about a stick-on mirror). Do exactly as the instructions say, especially the bits about cleanliness and holding it in place to set. I've used meths in the past if the kit doesn't come with the stuff in it. A quick wipe with glass-cleaner ain't enough!
You must follow the instructions precisely or it won't work.

There should be a small metal 'plate' that sklide into the casiong of the mirror. this is what is fixed to the windscreen. Take the metal insert out by sliding it out, superglue to windscreen and support using sellotape. The metal plate needs to be fixed the correct way round! Leave for three to four hours, then simly remove supporting sellotape and slide nirror back onto plate. Voila!!

I had the same problem with a previous car. Glass glue was useless. I solved it by buying some strong sticky pads which you peel off a backing. Try Halfords or similar - they're made especially for this.

Halfords promote a reflect that sticks on with a suction cup, it rather is outstanding, although that momentary. i got here upon that the Glass glue from Halfords became ok, yet you rather mandatory the glass and the reflect to be completely clean. next once you fasten it up, chock it up with rather timber for a minimum of 24 hours. I used a 3foot pole wedged againt the handbrake. worked for me.

you need to go to a motorists shop, and buy a sticky pad. make
sure you get all the old one off your wing mirror, or it wont stay on
for long. - everything must be clean, both the wing mirror and the
pad that it sticks to.
