I was worried someone would ask this question one day ... that someone would notice. Well, the truth of the matter is that a few years ago I saw her walking down Bond Street. She looked so pretty and innocent and so I ... I ran up behind her, bundled her into a car and took her to my mansion. She now lives here with me. She spends most of her time in a cage, but I do let her out occasionally so she can write songs, which I then sell the to the highest bidder AND CLAIM AS MY OWN!

After "I Love Your Smile", Shanice continued to record albums, including 1999's Shanice, produced chiefly by Babyface. While she has not achieved significant commercial success with her later albums, she is acknowledged as a talented singer and many of her songs appeared on various soundtracks. She also sings backup and does studio sessions and can be heard on Toni Braxton's song "Talking In His Sleep." (It is untrue that she performed on "Un-Break My Heart" as well. The actual session vocalist was Sheree Ford Payne, who also can be heard on "He Wasn't Man Enough For Me.") She can also be heard making vocal contributions to various video games. She is married to actor/comedian Flex Alexander, with whom she has two children: daughter Imani Shekinah and son Elijah Alexander.

She married that guy Flex from "Homeboys in Outter Space" and "Uptown Comedy Club", had a few kids....

She has a new cd called "Every Woman Dreams". She's married to Flex from the TV show "One to One", and has two beautiful kids.

She was a one-hit wonder unfortunately. She's probably doing musicals on stage somewhere.
